Soft and chewy, these sweet, triple chocolate chip cookies are the ultimate treat for the cookie-lovers in your home.
1. Preheat oven to 350(F) degrees. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl, set aside. Combine the butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar in a large bowl. Beat with an electric mixer set on high speed until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time; stir in the vanilla.
2. Gradually add the flour mixture, beating well after each addition. Fold in all the chocolate chips and the walnuts.
3. Drop the dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Flatten the dough slightly with the back of a fork. Bake the cooked until golden, about 15 minutes. Cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes. Transfer cookies to wire racks to cool completely.
Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 1 week or store in the freezer for up to 6 months. Thaw at room temperature.
For added flavor, stir in 1/4 cup shredded unsweetened coconut with the chocolate chips and nuts in Step 3.
