Cream margarine, eggs and sugar. Add sour cream. Add dry ingredients and vanilla. Grease and flour a 9 tube pan ( I used a bundt pan) Make sure you do a good job at greasing and flouring, it stuck when I did it very lightly. Spoon 1/2 the mixture into pan, sprinkle 1/2 of the nut mixture over the batter. Spoon remaining cake batter over this and top with remainder of nut mixture. Put in Cold over, then set oven at 350 for about an hour.
