Mix together the eggs, sugar, butter and sour cream. Add vanilla. Mix salt and soda with 2 cups of the flour. Mix in. Then add enough flour to handle the dough (2-3 cups). Dough will be sticky. Chill 2-3 hours or overnight.
Roll dough to 3/8"thickness and cut shapes. Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes or until slightly golden. Cool, ice and decorate.
