Cream the butter. Gradually add flour and continue to cream Add sour cream and mix well until all ingredients are blended together.
Chill dough thoroughly; preferably overnight.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Divide chilled dough into 12 equal balls; about the size of a baseball. Refrigerate balls until it's time to use each one.l
Using flour generously on pastry board and on rolling pin, roll out first ball as though you were making a pie crust.
Thinner crusts makes lighter, flakier turnoers. Don't roll too thin or filling will leak out. Divide the dough into 8 wedge shaped pieces.
Place a small spoonful of preserves at the wide end of each wedge and roll up.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for about 15 minutes, until golden.
