A take on the pie - but in a delicious bar version.
Combine in a heavy saucepan:
egg yolks, corn starch, 1 C sugar, sour cream, 2 cups raisins
bring to a boil, reduce heat and cook about 5 minutes, stir constantly. Set aside. let cool.
For the crust:
mix together:
oatmeal, flour, brown sugar, baking soda, melted butter.
Put 2/3 of the crust in a 9X13 inch pan - spread to cover. Bake in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes.
spread the raisin filling and top with dollops of remaining oatmeal mixture. Bake 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees.
