Always go fast. Hearty, old fashioned cookies
1. Preheat 350
2. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment or use silpat mats
3. Cover raisins with boiling water and let stand 10 minutes. Drain well and dry.
4. In large bowl, cream sugar and butter til fluffy.
5. Add egg, vanilla and sour cream. Blend well.
6. Fold in dry ingredients, then the raisins.
7. Drop in large gobs (about 2-3 inches apart) on baking sheets.
8. Bake 17-20 minutes, til edges are brown and cookies are just beginning to turn golden.
9. Cool well before eating
These are really good, old fashioned, hearty cookies. A comfort food. Makes 2 dozen
