Cream first six ingredients. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Refrigerate one hour or more. Then roll out to 1/4 inch thick and cut into shapes. Bake at 375ยบ for 6-9 minutes.
Note: do not skimp on the flour. If the batter feels sticky at all, add more flour. Be generous with the flour that you spread on the counter when rolling out the dough.
