1. Soak beans in enough water to cover for at least 8 hours, or overnight.
2. Drain beans, discarding water. In 3 1/2 to 4-quart slow cooker, combine beans and all remaining ingreadients except cilantro. Mix well.
3. Cover; cook on low for 10-12 hours.
4. With slotted spoon, remove chicken from slow cooker. Remove chicken from bones; discard bones. Cut chicken into pieces and return to stew. Stir in cilantro.
