Remove the casing from the sausage and discard. In a large skillet, brown the sausage and ground beef over medium heat for 8 min. Stir meat and break apart.
Add onion and garlic, sauté for 4 min. until meat is no longer pink. Drain and set aside.
Add all remaining ingredients and bring to a simmer. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Serve over your favorite spaghetti or other pasta.
