First, mince the garlic. Then brown the minced garlic in the olive oil. Make sure to brown the garlic in the same pot you are going to cook the sauce in. After the garlic is browned, pour both cans of tomato sauce into the pot. Stir well. Let the sauce heat for a bit. Then add the Parmesan cheese and basil. Stir well. Next, add in the meatballs (or other cooked meat). Let the sauce simmer for at least 30 minutes while stirring occasionally. The longer you let the sauce simmer, the better it will turn out.
Let the sauce simmer for a long time.
