Spagetti made with all fresh ingredients and healthy chicken instead of beef
Pre-cook ground chicken and set aside. Pour extra-virgin olive oil into medium to large size skillet. Heat olive oil over medium heat. Add in the onion, and garlic. Sauté. Cook over medium heat until onions turn clear and garlic starts to turn brown. Add in chicken, tomatoes, tomato purée, basil, oregano, and chicken broth. stir. Continue to cook over medium heat to low boil. cover and simmer.
Prepare pasta. Leave tomato sauce simmering and stir occasionally. Once pasta is finished, turn off pasta sauce and serve both hot.
Do not over cook the pasta. Do not over cook onions and garlic in the olive oil. If possible cook pasta in pasta sauce for five minutes before serving over medium low heat.
