Mom Killian's Spaghetti Sauce Recipe
Cook and stir ground bison, onion, and garlic in heavy saucepan until meat is browned and onion is tender. Drain off fat. Add tomato sauce, paste, and 15 oz water. Stir in the grated carrots, salt, basil, oregano, and bay leaf. Simmer uncovered 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Note: Can be made with Garlic powder (1/4 tsp) instead of garlic.
