Suggest a better descriptionHeat cooking oil in medium sauce pan. Add rice, onion, salt, and pepper. Brown rice well in medium-high heat. Browning the rice well is very important. It keeps the rice from sticking together. Add garlic and cook a couple minutes longer. Add tomato sauce, broth, and water. Bring to a boil and reduce to a low simmer. Cover and cook on low about 30 minutes or until rice is done. Do not peek!
