1. In a 10-inch skillet, cook beef, onion and garlic over medium heat until meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain off fat.
2. Add vegetables, cover and cook over low heat for 5 - 7 minutes or till vegetables are tender.
3. Stir in salsa and seasonings. Simmer, uncovered, about 10 minutes or until most of the liquid has evaporated.
4. Serve on buns of your choice.
Notes: Recipe called for kaiser rolls, split and toasted. I used whole wheat hamburger buns. I did not use green pepper. I used mild salsa.
