If you don’t like spicy foods use Mrs. Dash Extra Spicy instead of crushed red pepper.
1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt the butter in 9x13 inch baking pan by putting in oven for a few minutes. Whisk in the sour cream and chicken broth. Then stir in the onion slices, garlic, basil and crushed red pepper.
2) Coat both sides of the chicken breasts in the butter-spice mixture and spread them out evenly in the pan, placing some onion slices over each breast.
3) Cover the pan with foil and bake until the chicken is almost done, about 20 minutes. Meanwhile, boil the linguine noodles until just tender, and lightly squeeze the spinach if you haven’t already done so.
4) Transfer chicken breasts to a plate and add spinach, cooked noodles and Parmesan to the sauce, tossing well. add salt and pepper to taste.
5) Place chicken breasts on top of pasta- and- spinach mixture (you can sprinkle additional grated Parmesan cheese over the top, if desired) and bake 5 to 10 minutes more.
