Suggest a better descriptionBring spinach, carrots, and broth to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer for 5 min, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
In a large skillet, sauté onion and garlic in butter until tender (5-10 min). Add flour, cook and stir over low heat for 3-5 min. Slowly add to spinach mixture and blend well. Puree in small batches in a blender or food processor. Return to pot. Add remaining ingredients. Heat through, but do not boil.
