Saute garlic, onion in bottom of medium/large saucepan with margerine. add basil, oregano, black pepper, a little garlic powder, a little crushed red pepper. After the onion is starting to be transparent, reduce heat and add cut up artichoke hearts and douse with sage, thyme and a little more pepper. Add spinach and a little more spices if you think it needs it. Stir around a bit. Add package of cream cheese and about 2 or 3 large scoops of sour cream. stir well. Gradually add shredded cheeses and more pepper, sage and thyme and italian seasonings (rosemary, etc.) to taste. Pour into hollow bread bowl and sprinkle with paremesean on top. Ready to eat immediately.
This makes a very large salad. I would probably half the entire thing except the spinach.
