Heat oven to 350. spread butter on bottom of casserole dish.(just enough to keep from sticking) let cream cheese soften at room temp.
thaw and drain spinach. squeeze out excess liquid. cut up artichokes into small pieces. Combine all other ingredients with cream cheese spinach and artichokes, except half cup of the packaged parmesan cheese. ( set aside to use for topping) IN LARGE BOWL MIXING WELL.
Transfer to buttered casserole dish. Top with parmesan cheese. cook covered for 45min. or until bubbly. Remove lid and brown for 5 minutes. Serve with chips ,crackers or bread.
