Combine spinach, onions, oranges and nuts in bowl and set aside. Fry bacon and reserve drippings. In a saucepan, mix bacon drippings with olive oil to create 1/2 cup (the portions are up to your taste preference) along with vinegar, sugar and salt. Stir until dissolved and bubbly. Pour over salad, toss and serve.
