Preheat oven to 400F.
On a medium rimmed baking sheet, stir together the mushrooms and shallot. Drizzle with the oil. Sprinkle with the pepper and slat. Stir to coat. Spread in a single layer.
Roast for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are golden, stirring once halfway through. Remove from the oven.
Spread the spinach over the mushroom mixture. Using tongs, gently toss for 2 to 3 minutes or until the spinach is slightly wilted. If you prefer more-wilted spinach, roast the tossed mixture for 1 to 2 minutes.
