Robins Split Pea Soup
Combine peas and water in a laege saucepan, place over medium heat and being to a boil. Reduce heat, add onion. celery, one carrot, turnip, 1 clove garlic, potato, tamari and sesonings. Cook 1 hr till peas and veggies are soft. remove bay leaves.
Insert blender stick and blend till well mixed and smooth. add other clove garlic while blending.
Add barley and remaining carrot and bay leaves. Cook on low for 2 hrs stirring often
Add Chopotle Tabasco when serving with fresh sourdough bread.
