Hearty delicious split pea soup my way
Dice your onions slice up 2-3 carrots or a bag presliced carrots chop or mince six cloves of garlic slice up a half a stalk of celery add your ham bone and your chicken broth to your crock pot add all vegetables then add split peas salt and pepper and let your crock pot do the rest cut up left over hAm and add in as well as much as desired carefull on the salt as the ham naturally salts this recipe depending on how much u have
Always use mostly chicken broth if you like celery chop a half a stalk of celery which is how I make it comes out great
