In a medium saucepan, bring broth to a boil. Add orzo and bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until orzo is tender (about 8 to 10 min). Drain orzo, and move to serving bowl. Cover to keep warm.
Heat oil in medium skillet over medium-high heat. Saute until carrots are golden and onions are translucent (5 to 7 min). Remove from heat.
Add vegetables to orzo, then sprinkle in cheese and parsley. Toss well to coat. Serve hot.
