Sauté the onions with a little olive oil and Pam
To reduce time on the squash cut into small pieces and put in a bowl with 3/4 filled with water cover the top with a wet paper towel and cook in microwave for 12 minutes
Add squash to sautéed onions add salt and pepper along with spray butter and cook until tender
Mix the squash with the soup and sour cream. Pour the mix into a Pyrex dish sprayed with Pam. Cover with a layer of Parmesan cheese and then top with bread crumbs. Bake in oven at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. If you prefer the crispy version, bake on broil for the last 5 minutes.
If you don't have bread crumbs, use crackers smashed or top with FRENCH'S French Fried Onions.
