Suggest a better descriptionHeat oven to 350F.
Slice squash and dice onion; add to pot and cook until tender.
Strain then add 1 tsp. Salt, 1/2 tsp Pepper and 1 tsp. Sugar.
In another bowl, mix mayonaise, egg and pimento.
Add cheese to mixture and stir.
Add squash to mixture and stir.
Pour into a casserole dish.
In a pan, melt butter.
In a baggie, crush Ritz crackers.
Add crackers and almonds to melted butter; stir.
Sprinkle cracker mixture on top of casserole.
Bake at 350F for 35 minutes or until firm (not squishy, runny, mushy).
