Bon Appetite et Bonne Santé. Merci, Merci Beaucoup!
The key to making cereal with the milk added is to use a steamer. The best known on the market is the Toastess with stainless steel plates. We do not recommend cooking anything in direct contact with plastic. However, by using glass bowls, the food never touches the plastic.
Add all of the ingredients into the glass bowl. Place in steamer. Set for 20 minutes and leave the kitchen if you have no more food tasks.
This dish can be made with a large variety of other grains.
The basic ratio is 1 cereal to 3 milk for rolled grains or small whole grains such as millet, quinoa, or amaranth.
1 cereal to 6 milk for fine grains such as polenta, cream of wheat, farina.
Leave out the raisins and add herbs for side dishes.
Substitute other dried fruit for the raisins.
