Grease casserole pan. In a small saucepan cook onion and garlic in butter until tender. Stir salt and pepper and flour add in milk. Thinly slice potatoes place 1/2 in the casserale cover with sauce and add the rest of potatoes. Bake covered 350 for 40 mins uncovered for another 30 mins.
