My mom got this recipe from a magazine back in the 70's or 80's. It's always a big hit at BBQ's and potlucks.
Combine all ingredients (except cabbage and peanuts) in a jar and shake well.
In a large bowl combine cabbage and peanuts. Pour dressing over cabbage and mix well to moisten. Chill for about 2 hours before serving.
My mom always made this with bottled lemon juice. Fresh squeezed juice really makes it so much better.
I never think to save jars. A blender works great.
