An improvised recipe for pork loin steaks nad pork chops that I've always loved
Best thing about this recipe is that it is simple. Takes no time to prep and even less time to cook.
First mix your seasons into a small cup and mix through. Then lay your pork chops (or steaks) on a plate. Season both sides with your mix seasons and rub into the meat with the base of a spoon (or use your fingers). Once the pork is generously covered on both sides we add our sweet chilli sauce. The brand you use really doesn't matter but I use blue dragon. Any store brand of sweet chilli sauce will work as long as it is sticky. Pour the sweet chilli sauce on the pork on both sides evenly then use the base of a spoon (like earlier) to baste the chops on both sides. This should form a very sticky paste. Leave to marinade for roughly 2 hours. You can leave them in the fridge over night which would make them better but otherwise you're good to leave them for 2-3 hours I barely notice the difference.
Now lay the chops in a casserole dish and roast for 30 minutes at 200 degrees (US 400 degrees) or Gas mark 6. When the chops are ready they should be sticky and fragrent. Lay the chops on a clean plates and cover with foil. Next pour the juices and fat from the dish into a small pot. Turn one of your hobs up to full and heat the mixture up. Add your dijon mustard and white wine vinegar to the pot and mix through. Boil until the mixture is thick and has reduced to a quarter of it's original volume. Now serve your chops with a choice of veg and rice (Also works well with mash). Pour the boiled mixture onto the chops.
That's it, honestly an amazing dish very sweet (not too sweet) and spicy.
Hope you enjoy ^_^ spread the flavour if you like this recipe, tell your friends and if you have any questions feel free to message me.
Take your time as always.
