Suggest a better descriptionPrepare dough in bread machine. While the dough is rising, prepare the glaze. In a small bowl, whisk together the syrup and melted butter. Pour into lightly greased pan. Sprinkle the sticky bun sugar (or brown sugar) and pecans atop the glaze. Set aside.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured work surface and roll it into a 16 X 12 inch rectangle spread the dough with the Baker's cinnamon filling mixture or with 2 tablespoons soft butter and the cinnamon sugar. Starting with a long end, roll the dough into a 16 inch log. Slice the log into 16 pieces.
Place the buns in the prepared pan, cover the pan, and allow the buns to rise until doubled in bulk about one hour. Bake the sticky buns in a preheated 375°F oven. Tent with aluminum foil after 10 minutes and then bake another 10 to 15 minutes until done. Remove the buns from the oven and invert them onto a cooling rack. Scrape any of the sticky topping that has remained in the pan onto the buns.
