Suggest a better description1. Clean bean sprouts. Pour into a colander, spray with cold water, and drain.
2. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add bean sprouts. Keep in water for 20 seconds and then drain. Spray with cold water to keep the sprouts crisp.
3. Heat oil. Stir-fry garlic and green onions for a few seconds. Add bean sprouts, salt, sugar, MSG, and black pepper. Stir rapidly and thoroughly for 30 seconds. Add corn starch and mix well. Then add sesame oil and stir briskly. Serve hot.
