Cook pasta in salted water, according to instructions on packet. Drain well, set aside.
Heat wok over high heat. Add olive oil - when hot and slightly smoking, add garlic, ginger, onion + orange zest, stir-fryfor 2 mins.
Add bacon, stir-fry for 3-4 mins or 'til bacon browned.
Add peppers, sugar, stock, tomatoes, curry paste, tomato purée, salt + pepper. Turn heat down, cover + simmer for 30 mins, stirring occasionally.
Add pasta + mix well in the wok. Garnish abundantly with plenty of basil + chives.
May be served with salad as main course. Serve at room temp. in warm weather.
