Suggest a better descriptionPreheat oven to 350. Combine strawberries, apple, sugar, vanilla, & flour in a large bowl; mix well. Spread mixture into a shallow baking dish; set aside. For topping, combine flour, oats, almonds, nutmeg, and brown sugar in a medium bowl. Using a pastry blender or 2 knives, cut butter into topping mixture until coarse crumbs form. Sprinkle crumb topping evenly over fruit mixture. Bake until topping is tightly browned, about 25 minutes. Cool on a wire rack for 15 minutes before serving.
