A great summer treat everyone loves
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In medium saucepan combine sugar, corn starch, water and corn syrup. Simmer over medium heat till it thickens. It will go from milky white to clear. Remove from heat and add gelatin. Set aside and allow to cool while the crust is made.
Blend flour, margerine and confectioners sugar until crumbly. Press in pie plate. Bake 10-12 minutes until lightly browned. Allow to cool.
Place chopped strawberries in pan. Pour glaze over strawberries and refrigerate about 3 hours till glaze sets.
Serve with whipped cream if desired.
