Use Pioneer Brand Baking Mix
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease and lightly flour a loaf or 8 x 8 inch pan
In a small bowl combine nuts, brown sugar, flour, butter and cinnamon unil mix is lumpy; add toasted nuts (I like pecans) - don?t over mix; set aside.
In medium bowl, combine biscuit mix, granulated sugar, flour and baking powder. Add to the dry items the oil, egg, milk, half and half and yogurt. NOTE: you may or may not need all of the milk, so add it last. YOu want a cake like batter. Mix only to moisten. Turn half of batter into the prepared baking dish. I like parchment on bottom and up the side to remove cake eaisly and quickly. Evenly distribute the fresh strawberries on top of the batter. Top with remaining batter.
Sprinkle streusel over batter. Bake 40-45 minutes or until golden brown. Test center with toothpick inserted. Make sure comes out clean. Do not over bake. Cool in pan 15 mins
Another way to use your baking mix. Great for RV cooking. Alt: you can use sour cream in place of the yogurt; non or low fat for the milk.
