Christmas
Steam clams to open, scrape out clams. Chop and set aside. Wash shells.
Heat olive oil, add garlic, onion, mushrooms and parsley. Add bread crumbs, cheese, clams, clam juice, lemon juice, black and red pepper, wine. Mix together and stuff half shells with mixture.
Melt butter with lemon juice and white wine and sprinkle over clams.
Bake covered in 350 degree oven for 10 minutes. Then broil 5 minutes until lightly browned.
