Suggest a better descriptionCut tops of green peppers and remove seeds etc. Precook green peppers in boiling salted water for about 5 minutes. Remove from water and drain. Brown ground beef and onion. Add tomatoes, rice, Worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper to taste. Cover and simmer about 5 minutes. Partially cook bacon (about 1 minute in microwave.) Stand green peppers upright in baking dish and add meat mixture to peppers or cut the green peppers in half, lay them in a 9x13 pan and cover them with the meat mixture. Lay cheese over top, then the bacon, cut in 2 inch pieces. Pour a can of tomato sauce over top. Bake uncovered for 25 minutes at 350.
