Dry bread 350 degrees for 15 minutes, put in a bowl
Saute onion and celery in butter 10 minutes
Add apples and saute some more 5 minutes
Add mixture to bread
Mix in remaining ingredients EXCEPT EGGS
Cover and refrigerate 1 day ahead (it says you can also add salt/pepper here, which I don't do).
Mix in eggs.
Butter dish and put mixture into dish and cover with foil (I use a rectangular pyrex type pan)
Bake covered 1 hour. It didn't say what temp, so I did 350 since that's what it had said before.
Uncover and bake 20 minutes until brown
