Our family sugar cookie recipe
Cream shortening add sugar slowly
Continue for 5 min. Add salt, eggs, vanilla, and almond extract. Mix well
Dissolve baking soda in canned milk add this to creamed mixture. Alternating with flour. Refridgerate till easy to roll out.
Roll out in 1/8 inch thick- cut with cookie cutter... Using ungreased cookie sheet bake @ 400 6-8 min.
