Sugar cookies
Source: Grandma Wagar
Cream shortening well. Cream sugar in gradually. Add beaten eggs and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients together and add in. Work in till smooth. Flour counter and roll out not too thin, cut ion shapes and place on greased cookie pan. Decorate with sugar sprinkles. Bake at 400 deg F for 6 to 8 minutes. Cool and store. These cookies freeze well
