Suggest a better descriptionCream the butter and gradually mix in the sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla after. Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt. Add the butter mixture to the dry ingredients. Mix until well blended. Form dough into a ball, cover, and chill for two hours or overnight. On a well floured board, roll out dough to 1/4 inch. Cut out cookies and place on sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Remove to wire rack for cooling.
