Indian sweet & sour potatoes and onions, Veema's recipe
boil potatoes, peel by hand, and cut into small/medium pieces
chop onion into thin, 3/4" pieces
chop ginger into small chunks
make vaghar with cumin seeds, mustard seeds, asafetida
add ginger
add onions & chilies
add turmeric, salt, lemon juice, sugar
cook covered until onions soft
add potatoes, mix gently
serve with chopped cilantro on top
good with puris, yogurt
