Suggest a better descriptionFor crust, beat butter or margarine in a large mixing bowl with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds. Add sugar and 1/8 teaspoon salt; beat till combined. Beat in the flour on low speed till combined. Press two-thirds of the mixture into the bottom of an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
For filling, combine sweetened condensed milk and chocolate in a medium saucepan. Stir over low heat till chocolate melts and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in nuts and vanilla. Spread hot mixture over the crust. Dot with remaining crust mixture.
Bake in 350 degree oven about 35 minutes or till golden. Cool in pan on a wire rack. Cut into bars.
