Super Easy and Super Fast! If you don't tell the kids it is oatmeal they would never know! A nice simple hearth-like bread. Great for anything from toast to sandwiches! This recipe contains no perishable ingredients so it is very portable!
1 - Start by making your yeast happy! Combine yeast, sugar and warm water together and let them sit while you prepare the rest of the ingredients.
2 - Lightly spray the bread pan with non-stick cooking spray.
3 - Combine ingredients in bread machine per your manufacturer's instructions. Typically moist ingredients first but make sure you save the water with the yeast until the end.
4 - Cook time is for the basic/white cycle (medium crust; 1½ lb loaf) using a Breadman Ultimate Plus bread machine; your machine may differ.
Let the loaf sit for an hour so it will slice easier...
