Brown sausage in a large skillet until no longer pink, then drain and set it aside.
While sausage is browning place bread slices in bottom of baking dish (9X11 dish). In a large bowl beat the eggs, then mix in the milk and cayenne pepper.
When sausage is cooked spread sausage over bread slices, then spread cheese over sausage. Next pour egg mixture evenly over top. Cover and place in refrigerator over night.
Remove from refrigerator while oven is preheating. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bake in preheated oven approximately 50 to 60 minutes or until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
The Cayenne Pepper adds a little bite but its not too hot.
