If you've been looking for moist cakes then this is what you need!
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celcius (350 F) and grease 2 medium sized pans.
Mix flour and salt together in a bowl and keep aside.
Transfer the cocoa powder into the hot water in a large bowl, mix and let cool.
Then add the egg yolks, sugar, oil and vanilla essence to the cocoa mixture and beat at medium speed for about 5 minutes.
Add the flour and beat at low speed for about 10 minutes.
In another bowl beat the egg whites at high speed until soft peaks is formed.
Then fold the egg whites into the cake mixture(do not beat).
Pour batter into pans and bake for about 30 minutes.
Cake is ready when the sides pull in.
Cool the cake before eating.
