Yumnmy to the Mummy
Directions:
PREHEAT oven to 400°F.
Mix meat and MIRACLE WHIP. Shape intofour thin square shaped patties (a little bigger than bread slices); set aside.
SLICE 3 onions, set one aside
HEAT 1 Tbsp. of the Italian dressing and 2Tbsp. of butteri in large nonstick skillet. Add 2 onions; cook on medium-highheat 10 min. or until onions are golden brown and tender, stirring occasionally.Remove from skillet. Add patties; cook on medium heat 5 min. on each side oruntil cooked through (160°F).
SPRAY baking sheet with cooking spray. Brushbread with the remaining 2 Tbsp. Italian dressing. Place 4 of the bread slices,dressing-sides down, on prepared baking sheet; top evenly with the Americancheese slices, cooked onion, raw onions and meat patties. Cover with theremaining bread slices, dressing-sides up. Bake 20 min., turning sandwichesafter 10 min.
