Delicious and fun way to prepare a classic.
Drink 1/3 of the beer. Melt 3/4 of the butter and pour into can. Slice garlic and peppers and drop into can. Add Old Bay seasoning. Take last 1/4 of the butter and melt. Baste onto chicken. Mix rub and brown sugar and rub into chicken. Slide can into "butt" of chicken and use legs to stabilize on grill. Using a low to medium-low setting, cook the chicken about 1 1/2 hours or until internal temp reaches 180 degrees. Once cooked, carefully remove can from chicken without spilling contents. Pour contents into a medium saucepan Add remainder of sauce ingredients and reduce to a thin gravy. Pour over chicken and enjoy.
Try not to open grill too often. Check after 45 minutes and every 20 after that. Watch for flair ups.
