Sweet and sour dish for the crock pot without fried or breaded chicken.
Whisk together sugar, liquids, spices and cornstarch until well blended (no lumps). If there is not enough juice, add whichever liquid you prefer to bring up level to cover chicken. Remember though, for each extra cup of liquid, stir in another tablespoon of cornstarch before pouring into slow cooker.
Combine liquid, chicken and other ingredients in crock pot. Cover and cook 8-10 hours on medium or 10-12 on low.
This is a nice alternative to most sweet and sour chicken recipes because the chicken is not breaded or fried
