Fall Favorite
Cook potato until very soft. Peel and mash while hot. Place in a mixing bowl, pour in the melted butter, brown sugar and buttermilk, and mix well. In a separate bowl, combine flour, ginger, white pepper and nutmeg. Add to the potato mixture and stir to combine. Don't overmix. The dough should be quite tacky. You may either drop biscuits onto a prepared sheet pan or lightly pat out and cut. Add flour as needed to be able to work the dough. Bake at 375 degrees for about 20 minutes.
